It was very quiet and a good spot after a long day in the sun

Starting with the sangria wine that was absolutely fantastic, then we were served the mozzarella sticks which were fantastic and I had the sauteed mushrooms that were very so very good followed by the clam chowder New England Style, my wife had the baked lasagna and I had tortellini and ravioli with light marinara. The service was fantastic the atmosphere was awesome with exception of one douchebag but there's always at least one.We are locals and we don't get out as much as we should but we will definitely be patronizing this fine establishment again.

Good food, great service, has nice European decor. You can dine indoors or outdoors, although it may too chilly depending on the season. Rather surprising to have an Italian restaurant in such a small town, but they must get a lot of business from tourists during festivals and special events.

Fantastic lasagna and meat sauce. Chicken Caesar salad was really good also.

Service is good and the staff is friendly. The only problem is the food. The chicken was sour. The pasta that i ordered was for some reason served in broth (I think they were trying to get rid of the soup for that day). If you are not familiar with any italian food, then this is the place for you.

Visited with a group of about 14 people and sat in a back room. We could chat without undue amounts of noise. We ordered and food was delivered within a reasonable time. My mother and I both ordered the salmon entree and it was delicious! Moist and cooked perfectly. Soup or salad. Both were excellent. Salmon served on spinach with potato medallions and vegetables. Others were also pleased with their choices. Also ordered dessert.. Several desserts from ice cream, a sundae to cheesecake and Creme brulee. All delicious! Also the salmon portion was large enough to take home for another meal.Service was attentive and efficient. Was an overall great meal and experience. Check out the restaurant yourself. Indoor and outdoor seating. On-street parking.

Beautiful cozy decorations. Comfortable atmosphere with a nice view of town from the windows or patio. The food was delicious and our service was perfectly timed. Can't wait to go again! You should definitely stop in and give them a try.

Local Italian restaurant that must have grandma cooking in the back! All your favorites are here along with cocktails and deserts. Very friendly staff takes care of you. Try one of their specials.

Best Italian food in kernville or Lake Isabella, they also make a great steak if that's more what you're in the mood for. Great atmosphere and service. The owners are very friendly and are hands on involved in running the place. If you're visiting the area or just passing through this is definitely a restaurant you should check out.

Great food, I would love to see more selection, but that begs the question, how much variety can a specialty restaurant ha e while remaining cost effective? The waiters and service people are always genuinely kind and friendly. Even when all things seem hectic, they still a knowledge you, letting you know they have not forgot about you.I always too well there. Not a brag or boast. But rather a statement of the type of service I always get when there. I appreciate their friendliness, even in the midst of chaos.And.... Did I mention their food is fantastic?I could quote a thesaurus on the words "Great" "Yummy" "Delectable" but I am sure the point is made. You feel like giving up Fast Food for a day... Want something filling and satisfying? That's Itialian is the answer.

Wonderfully warm, romantic atmosphere. GREAT food & I don't hand that compliment out easily, especially when it comes to Italian cuisine. Bravissimo!

We visited this restaurant later in the evening because it was the only one, which was open and had the dine-in option available. We ordered different chicken plates with soups. Clam chowder was super delicious, but the main courses were mediocre. The waitress wasn’t super friendly, but at the same time we didn’t feel unwelcome.

We make a point of eating here every time we visit Kernville. Always delicious & enjoyable! And last Saturday's stuffed pork loin was truly sensational. Thank you!

Medicare at best. Worst French onion soup ever. Very slow. One customer walked out after 20 minutes of being ignored.

Needs more flavor and better service

The Lasagna was the best I have ever had at a restaurant, closest think to Home made I've tasted. The Spaghetti and meatballs was also incredible. Staff was attentive but not over bearing. This is my new favorite place for dinner in Kernville

Outstanding!! Had he best Italian food I have ever had!! Was here several years ago and it was good but boy they have really evolved into perfection! These people know what their doing. Every bite was better than perfect. Can’t wait to go back!

Great food

The staff are wonderful. They really did a great job. I had the chicken fettuccini alfredo, it was bland. However, my friends had the eggplant parmesan and loved it.

For staters, they short pour their wine and charge a higher price. Their garlic bread was terrible and we left it on the plate. Ordered calamari and was very disappointed. It tasted like it came out of a freezer bag and was rubbery. The side of marinara sauce that came with it was tasteless and more like watered down ketchup. This was supposed to be the highlight of our trip here, but turned out to be the worst night here.Definitely no 2nd chance for this place. Amazed they are even still in business.

We've been going for years. Never a disappointment. Now they've decorated for Christmas. Small, Quaint, always good food.

Called ahead for an unusual request. My group had been swimming and were freezing. We were looking for espresso style coffee. They don't usually make it but they happen to have a small machine for coffee and said they would try and make us some. Bottom line was great service, very kind and coffee was great. They went the extra mile for us.

A great place to eat. I had spaghetti and meatballs. So good. The owner served us and was so very accommodating. We are in the area due to an emergency. Had to bring our dog. We sat outside and they rearranged the tables for us, brought a bowl of water and treats for our dog. This shows me how much they want to serve and do the best they can for their customers. And on top of that the food was great. Everyone in our party really enjoyed their food.

They are following all of the information that has been provided by the State of California and the CDC. It was good to see them busy too. They were serving a wonderful Sangria. I had the penne pasta portofino and the other dish was pasta romeo. The house salad dressing is awesome 👌!

Seating outside due to covid-19. But they have an over hang on porch so it was really nice. Good food.

We are almost three months into our 7 month Journey. I was definitely not sure that this Italian restaurant would pan out. I am very happy to say that they did a very good job. We both had the chicken parm dinner and were impressed. This town is very small not too much going on and to have found this type of restaurant that actually prepared their food as one would expect was very impressive. From cleanliness to atmosphere to quality to pricing GREAT.

They offer a large range of delicious food. I liked eating here. Staff members are always very friendly, pricing is fair and the place is always kept clean.

This place always delivers. They have great dishes for fair rates, there are no long waits even when the spot is busy.

Gross. Oily service is subpar. Side salad is $$$ for a tiny bowl. Lasagna is terrible. This is NOT Italian shame to my country!
